Calvin Brazile, founder of CompuArt Design, began his career as a freelance artist, set designer and art director for various television shows and specials, including a three-year position as the art director for WGPR-TV in Detroit. A graduate of the Art Academy of Cincinnati, Calvin spent nearly twenty years as the principal illustrator and manager of graphic production for the City of Detroit's Communications and Creative Services Department, where he was responsible for a staff of four graphic artists, more than $200,000 of computer and digital output equipment and the major renovation of a video production studio. Calvin moved to the private sector in 1997 and established CompuArt Design to provide graphic design services to businesses, public institutions and civic organizations.
SuVon Treece, President of CompuArt Design, graduated in 2003 from the University of Michigan, cum laude, with a Bachelor’s in graphic design. While a student and after graduation, she worked at ClearChannel as a graphic design/art specialist intern, designing printed pieces and maintaining the web sites of WJLB FM 98 and WMXD 92.3. Around the same time, she worked at the Detroit Empowerment Zone teaching art classes to inner city youngsters. SuVon also has held the position of Art Director for Metro Exposure Magazine, Detroit’s premier upscale lifestyle publication. Her responsibilities included supervising and designing the entire 88 page layout for each issue, including cover layout and ad creation. SuVon joined CompuArt Design in 2006 and is very excited about taking CompuArt Design to new heights in the future. SuVon is also an experienced artist and enjoys drawing, painting and illustrating in her spare time.
Currently, the staff of CompuArt Design includes graphic artists, web designers, photographers and writers who are highly skilled and trained in the latest technology.
